Storm - Nordavind (1995)

Storm have three non-album tracks released exclusively on the "Crusade from the North" compilation (1996): "Oppunder Skrent Og Villmark", "Noregsgard" (remix) and "Mellom Bakkar Og Berg" (rehearsal).

On the album 'Nordavind', Storm plays metallized versions of traditional Norwegian folk songs.

The lyrics from the first paragraph of the song Nagellstev, are the same as the words said by "The Girl" in Ulver's song "Capitel II - Soelen Gaaer bag Aase Need" from the Bergtatt album, minus the archaic way of writing.

Imperium Dekadenz - Procella Vadens (2010)

Imperium Dekadenz was founded during late summer 2004 by Vespasian and Horaz.

The band was featured on the In Autumnal Fog 2009 sampler with the song "An Autumn Serenade", freely downloadable on the Autumnal Fog website.

Their third album with the Latin title "Procella Vadens" meaning "The Wanderer of the storm", was released by Season of Mist in April 2010.

The name of the band was inspired by the movie "Caligula" (1979), which was regarded as a scandal due to its extreme violent and pornographic scenes. Imperium Dekadenz' lyrics reflect genre typical topics like death, mourning, hatred and despair.

Ensiferum - From Afar (2009)

Ensiferum means "Sword Bearer". 'Ensis' is a third declension noun meaning Sword, and 'Ferum' is from an irregular verb meaning "to carry" (like "ferry"). Markus Toivonen found the word in a Latin dictionary when the band were starting out and decided it was an ideal name.

Ensiferum were founded as a three-piece by Markus Toivonen, Sauli Savolainen and Kimmo Miettinen. They began mostly as a cover band before persuading Jari Mäenpää to join as vocalist and second guitarist a year later.

Frontman Jari Mäenpää quit in 2004 after creating his own project, Wintersun. Studio time for Wintersun recordings clashed with an Ensiferum tour, so Mäenpää quit Ensiferum. Petri Lindroos of Norther was brought in, inititally to cover for live dates, and eventually agreed to join permanently. At this point the band's vocal duties were split as Lindroos performed only the harsh singing while Markus Toivonen and Sami Hinkka took over the clean vocals. Toivonen is now the only founding member left in the band.

Markus Toivonen never played in Scent of Flesh - there are two different persons with the same name.

Petri Lindroos was forced to miss a few tour dates in November 2008 due to illness. Former bassist Jukka-Pekka Miettinen filled in as guitarist while Sami Hinkka took up harsh vocal duties.

Macabre Omen - The Ancient Returns (2005)

 Recorded during the Summer Solstice of 2004 at Big Wave Studios in Livorno Italy.
 Track 5 is listed as two separate tracks.
 LP release by Obscure Abhorrence Productions on white vinyl limited to 111 hand numbered copies and alternate artwork.
 Reissued on cassette by Thule Records in early 2008, limited to 300 hand numbered copies in gold cases with alternate artwork.

 Macabre Omen was founded in 1994 by Alexandros and Mournful on the island of Rhodes, Greece, in the town of Kremasti and Ialysos. Their first release was ''Secrets of the Moonlight '' demo '94. By 1995 as a four-member band with Alexandros on guitars, Lefteris on vocals, Mournful on bass and Stephen on keyboards, with this line-up they released their second demo ''Before Darkness'' in 1995.
 In 2006 they participated on the compilation by Kyrck Productions & Armour ''Hellas - The Black  Also in 2006 and 2007 two split 7'' EPs were released as a tribute to Bathory. Since 2005 the band is recording their material in Italy.

Vintersorg - Till Fjälls (1998)

Released in 2003 by Irond as as split with the Hedniskhjärtad EP

  Vintersorg means "Winter Sorrow", but the name was taken from the Isfolket series by Margit Sandemo, where the character Vintersorg is the son of a great pagan leader.
  In Vintersorg's first three albums, Vargher (Marcus E. Norman) - from Havayoth, Naglfar, and Ancient Wisdom - was responsible for programming the drums. According to an interview, Vintersorg used to sing the drum lines to him, and Vargher transcribed them. In Cosmic Genesis, Vintersorg programmed the drums by himself.
  Formed under the name Vargatron, which means Wolfthrone. The band split-up in Summer '96, and was later resurrected under the name Vintersorg as a one-man band.
  Vintersorg was a solo project of Andreas Hedlund until the release of Cosmic Genesis. After Mattias Marklund joined the band as a full member, Vintersorg became a duo (referred to as The Vintersorgs).
