Vinterland - Welcome My Last Chapter (1996)

Vinterland disbanded after just the one full length release in 1996 but reformed 14 years later. Their first reunion gig was at Wave Gotik Treffen Fest, in June 2011.

The original title is "Wings of Sorrow" but people got confused since it has "Welcome My Last Chapter" on the cover, so they reprinted the CD with the new title.

Rotting Christ - Triarchy of the Lost Lovers (1996)

Before they formed Rotting Christ, Sakis Tolis, Themis Tolis and Mutilator played in a band together called Black Church, which they started in 1985. They went on to create Rotting Christ in 1987.

Originally started as grindcore, but after Satanas Tedeum they became a straight up black metal act. In due time, with the release of A Dead Poem, the band headed towards the gothic realm and lost most of their black metal element. They started going back to their heavier sound on Khronos and on Sanctus Diavolos they blackened their sound even more. With Theogonia, the band had started incorporating many folk elements in their sound.

In 2012 the band announced that the line-up from their first three albums (Sakis Tolis, Themis Tolis, Mutilator, George Zacharopoulos) will get together again for a show in Nuclear War Now festival in Berlin, Germany celebrating their 1000th show and play songs exclusively from their first three albums and demos. When the time came for this one show the band actually appeared with the current 2012 line up and not the original as it was planned.

Sail or Saille is the 4th letter of the Irish Ogham alphabet, meaning "willow". The bandname is pronounced [sahl-yeh].

Saille is a self-defined epic black metal band consistently incorporating real classical instruments (e.g. cello, violin, cornet, trumpet, euphonium, grand piano, hobo) into their compositions.

Thyrane - Black Harmony (1997)

The band was first formed under the name Thornmoon, but renamed to Thyrane soon after. They started out as a symphonic black metal group and later evolved into a blackened industrial metal group on the "Hypnotic" album. "Travesty of Heavenly Essence" marked Thyrane's return to their symphonic black metal origins with industrial touches.

Dissection - ReinkaΩs (2006)

The album title is stylised as "REINKAΩS", with a Greek uppercase omega.

Jon Nödtveidt (aged 31) shot and killed himself on August 13th, 2006. Swedish police found him in his apartment inside a circle of lit candles. It is believed that he killed himself because he felt he had achieved all that he could/was meant to in this life. According to some who actually knew him this was probably planned ever since he got out of jail.

The band first disbanded due to Jon Nödtveidt's accomplice to murder conviction. He was serving time in prison since 1997 until early 2004 and then reactivated the band.

Jon Nödtveidt Suicide by gunshot. Early reports indicated that he was found with an open copy of the Satanic Bible, but these were later dismissed by Dissection's guitarist Set Teitan. According to him, "it's not any atheist, humanist and ego-worshiping 'Satanic Bible' by Anton LaVey that Jon had in front of him, but a Satanic Grimoire. He despised LaVey and 'The Church of Satan'."

The said "Satanic Grimoire" is reputed to be the Liber Azerate, one of the publishings of the Misanthropic Luciferian Order, from which Nödtveidt apparently was influenced, his last album Reinkaos's lyrics being co-written by the very same man who wrote the Liber Azerate.
