Põhjast - Matused (2014)

Imagine sitting by yourself on a hill in the heart of winter, in the middle of the night gazing on a lake, its shores packed with thawing ice.

The wolves of loneliness howl in the nocturnal darkness and the only light visible is the moon's reflection on the lake's ominous surface.

It's cold enough to freeze the life out of you; another lethal blizzard gnaws on your bones. You know you're not leaving here.

Zombie Ritual 2014

Venom - Black Metal (1982)

ALBUM SPECIAL ZOOBIE RITUAL OPEN AIR 2014

From left to right: Danté, Cronos and Rage.

Originally began as a 5-piece called Guillotine with Clive Archer on vocals, Alan Winston on bass and Cronos on rhythm guitar. Archer and Mantas met at a Judas Priest concert in 1979 which led to Archer and Abaddon (both of the band Oberon) joining Guillotine.

Cronos switched to bass when Alan Winston left the band a week before a gig - his decision to plug his bass guitar into a guitar amp is credited with the development of his trademark "bulldozer bass" sound. The line-up was further trimmed down to a three-piece following the first demo session when the rest of the band decided they prefered Cronos' vocal style to Archer's.

Beherit - Drawing Down the Moon (1993)

Beherit is Syriac for Satan.

They also released the demo "Down There..." under the name The Lord Diabolus, because of the previous problem with Turbo Music.

Both H418ov21.C and Electric Doom Synthesis are not metal albums, but rather synthetic ambient "dark ritual music", which NHV released by himself while attempting to put together a full band again in 1994 thru 1996.

Around the same time Beherit started to release ambient albums, NHV had semi-lost his interest in playing metal and started working again as a techno DJ under the name Gamma-G and he even released one compilation CD entitled "(G)raveyard 2001 - The Ultimate Hardrave Massacre".

Despite their relative popularity now, Beherit were generally hated by the black metal community in the early nineties, in fact there was a Scandinavian band made in response to them called "Fuck Beherit" (who released 2 rehearsal tapes in 1992) A bootleg CD-R of these recordings is floating around the web entitled Fuck Beherit: "Total Beherit".

Drawing Down the Moon is a clasic! Beherit is a Beherit!

"The dream descends to the region of moon
To the land, the sphere of eternal sin
A half light, dark the realm of Nanna
The realm of spirits and the father of the gods
Oh, shine of moon, of the astral gods
It ravishes, it calls us to sin...

Lord Nanna, of the race of Anu
Lord Nanna, called sin
Lord Nanna, o hero of the gods
Lord Nanna, the gate of sin...

Ave Satan, Ave Lucifer, Ave Satan, Alla Xul
Ave Satan, Ave Lucifer, Ave Satan, Gigim Xul

...Sleep"

Bulldozer - The Final Separation (1986)

Formed in 1980 by Carria and Panigada but due to army services disbanded in 1981 and reformed in 1983. In 1984 Panigada introduced AC Wild to Carria but due to some problems with their parents, Galli and Carria left the band shortly before the Roadrunner contract was signed. The bassist Don Andras joined afterwards but switched instruments to drums and AC Wild took up the bass. The real Bulldozer ...
